5 Year Anniversary

It's hard to believe that we are approaching the 5 Year Anniversary. The anniversaries can be very emotionally draining, and can trigger alot of anxiety and emotions. This year, it may be more stressful because of the increased media attention, including the current movies that are released.

Please use the support services available for help. There are many resources, groups to help survivors. This year, the Marriott Survivors Group will be holding a 5 year commemoration event on September 10, 2006 to help the survivors. In addition, the WTC Survivors Network has planned many events that week with the theme of "Hope, Healing and Renewal"

Announcements

• Sept 11 Marriott Survivors 5 Year Anniversary. Please RSVP by August 20, 2006 so we can get a count of the attendees!
• Sept 11 Marriott Survivors Site. Guestbook & Chat Forum has been restored August 2006! We've had major hacking issues, but it is fixed now
• Founder of this organization will be speaking on behalf of the survivors in different events. Please send email for more info.
• New survivor Stories have been updated August 15, 2006
• Other commemoration events for 2006 are listed in the Events link
• We encourage you to donate to the organization , as this organization is maintained solely from volunteer effort and funded solely through donations. We are planning a commemoration for 5 year anniverary, and desperate need for help to make this possible.
