Our Mission

Marriott WTC Survivors Group is a nonprofit organization founded by survivors who escaped 3 World Trade Center (Marriott WTC Hotel) on September 11, 2001. Membership is opened to those affected by the events of September 11, including hotel survivors, hotel responders, hotel employees, hotel guests, family members, or anyone else who support our mission. The group's goal is to offer updated information about the hotel, the recovery, resources, and any other relevant articles pertaining to the events of that day. Another goal is to provide a forum for personal communication between survivors. Survivors of disasters usually suffer from PTSD for years. After 9/11, many survivors felt a sense of loss, guilt, grief, and isolation from the rest of the world. This group aims to provide the support needed to help in the healing process for survivors.

This organization is maintained solely from volunteer effort and funded through donations. Donations are appreciated to keep the website going and support all gatherings/events of the group.
